At around 20sec, when I start to zoom in, you can see the students. That sound of clinking metal is rocks being thrown at the carabineros riot control truck. This is before the stuff hits the fan, and by stuff hitting the fan, I mean before the carabineros started throwing tear gas bombs. Mind you, before this happen, tires had already been lit on fire and charges toward the police had been made, so I don't know if the tear gas was truly warranted, but I'm going to err on the side of yes, it probably was.
Don't worry mom, I promise I'm safe- and Marisol said that she knows that you are going to be worried about me living with "uncivilized people" (her words), but she wants me to assure you that I am being well taken care of...despite the protests.
